TEAM OF THE DECADE 2000 — 2009
National Football Events has selected the Central Penn Piranha as the TEAM OT THE DECADE for the years 2000 thru 2009. In
that 10 year span they were ranked in the Top 20 teams at the end of the season. The Piranha was the only team to rank in the Top
20 at the end of the season in each of the 10 years.
The Brooklyn Mariners and the Kane Co. (IL) Eagles were both ranked in the Top 20 at the end of the season in each of 8 years.
The Mariners and the Eagles each won an NFE National Championship twice. Both teams could be counted on to finish in the
Top 10 annually.
The Detroit Seminoles were also another very successful team during that Decade. The Seminoles finished in the Top 10 in 8
years during the Decade.
