Island Warriors Win Casino Bowl XIII

The Island Warriors of Las Vegas showed why they are the #1 ranked team by Minor League Football News and by National Football Events . The Warriors beat the NFE All Stars in Casino Bowl XIII by a score of 44 to 7 .

The Warriors scored on their first possession with a 20 Yd. pass from QB Ted Kennedy to WR Epi Hernandez Jr. They went on to score 14 more points in the first quarter . The Warriors continued their one sided attack in the 2nd quarter .They ran an interception back for a TD ( they also ran one back in the first quarter ). Half time score, Warriors 31 and NFE All Stars 7.

The 3rd quarter was scoreless . The NFE All Stars scored in the 4th quarter on a 1 Yd plunge by RB Deon Morris of the St. Louis Bulldogs . Steve Moser converted the extra point to continue his record of scoring in 11 Casino Bowl games . Willie Garrett scored the final TD for the Warriors . Willie has been a Casino Bowl MVP while playing for the West squad in three previous Casino Bowl games .
